I'm Carol Anne and for over 20 years, I’ve worked within the therapy and spa industry, both hands-on with clients and behind the scenes as an international training manager, supporting therapists across the world to develop their skills, confidence and understanding of the body.

My work has taken me into luxury spas, clinical environments and education settings, but the thread has always been the same: helping therapists move beyond routine and truly understand what they’re doing—and why.

In 2020, I stepped away from global training to build something closer to home. What began as a small garden room has grown into The Secret Garden Rooms, a specialist clinic in Scotland known for its work in lymphatic drainage, post-operative care, oncology massage and scar therapy.

Working with complex, often vulnerable clients every day changed the way I see education.​ I saw first-hand that many therapists were leaving courses still unsure, relying on protocols, second-guessing themselves, and lacking the deeper understanding needed to adapt treatments safely and confidently.

That’s why I created The Secret Training Rooms.

My training is designed for therapists who want more than just techniques.
It’s for those who want to truly understand, feel confident working with real clients, and build treatments that are both safe and effective.

I don’t teach quick fixes or surface-level routines.

I teach how to think, assess, and adapt so that what you learn actually translates into your practice.

Every course is built on real clinical experience, years of teaching, and a genuine passion for helping therapists grow.
