Carol Anne - Owner and Founder
Carol has over 20 years’ experience in the spa and massage industry, with a career that has taken her across the world and shaped the way she works today. From her early days at The Old Course Hotel in St Andrews, she went on to work internationally as an in-flight therapist with Virgin Atlantic and within the Virgin Limited Edition collection in Morocco.
Her journey has included managing spas in Switzerland, working aboard super yachts, and gaining experience throughout Australia and New Zealand. She later stepped into an International Training Manager role, where she supported and educated therapists around the world — something that continues to influence her approach to both treatment and training today.
The Secret Garden Rooms was founded in 2019, starting in a small summer house in her garden. What began as a quiet, personal space has grown into a clinic known for its calm, supportive environment and specialist care. With a background in oncology massage, Carol naturally found herself supporting clients post-operatively and those living with lymphoedema.
Hollie
Hollie has been working in the industry since qualifying as a holistic therapist, building her experience across a variety of spa roles and running her own business. She joined The Secret Garden Rooms in 2024 and has since become a valued part of the team.
While Hollie has a natural ability to create deeply relaxing, calming treatments, she has also developed a strong focus in post-operative care and lymphatic treatments, where her gentle, attentive approach really stands out.
She is passionate about helping clients feel more at ease in their bodies whether that’s through supporting recovery or simply creating space to slow down and reset.
